“La Changa” taken down in SFM after a shootout
Yunior Alfonso Tineo, alias “La Changa”, passed away this Tuesday in a clash with Dicrim in San Francisco de Macorís.
My people from the area, heavy news comes straight to us from our beloved land of San Francisco de Macorís, where the local branch of the Northeastern Regional Directorate of Investigation (Dicrim) carried out an operation that ended in tragedy. Reports confirm that the individual named Yunior Alfonso Tineo, who was popularly known on the streets of the municipality by the nickname “La Changa”, lost his life this Tuesday night after ending up with gunshot wounds. The event originated, according to the official information shared, in the middle of an alleged exchange of gunfire with law enforcement agents who were tracking him down in our Duarte province.
