Great news! SFM City Hall builds bridge over Bijao river
The long-awaited construction of a bridge over the Bijao river begins to connect Vista al Valle and other areas of our beloved land.

My wonderful people of San Francisco de Macorís who follow us from the Big Apple and our native soil, we have excellent news from our town! The municipal City Hall is hard at work executing the long-awaited construction of a bridge over the Bijao river, an important structure that will link the Vista al Valle sectors with the Bijao community.
Engineer Denny Zabala, who heads Public Works for the town council, detailed that this intervention will notably improve the mobility of both pedestrians and vehicles, facilitating free access between the localities. This initiative fulfills a commitment made by our mayor, Alex Díaz Paulino, to raise the quality of life for the area's residents.
Meanwhile, the president of the neighborhood association, Leocardio García (affectionately known as Silvio), expressed his deep joy and gratitude, highlighting that the residents had been waiting for this road solution for over two decades. In addition, García categorically clarified that the work is funded by the town council and debunked any version regarding financial contributions from the community members.
With this important work driven by the City Hall, connectivity is strengthened between sectors like Vista Linda and Lindo Bijao Bijao, finally answering an old demand from our hardworking people of the Duarte province.
