"Chulín" turns himself in for the Pimentel case! 🔥

My lovely people from our Duarte province, we bring you the details of a case that has given everyone in our area something to talk about. Last Sunday, October 11, Víctor Francisco de Castro Santos, 38 years old and known in the neighborhood as "Chulín", decided to turn himself in to the police authorities. 🇩🇴

Turns out "Chulín" was actively wanted by the justice system under arrest warrant number 00366-2023, pointed out for his alleged participation in the death of José Luis García, nicknamed "El Pelotero" or "Culebrón". According to the official information provided by the report, García lost his life due to stab wounds in an event recorded in the community of Cuaba Abajo, belonging to the municipality of Pimentel. ⚔️

After his voluntary surrender, Castro Santos remained under police custody to be presented before the Public Ministry and answer for the accusations against him. The authorities reminded that for this same event two other men had already been brought to justice, among whom is Jesús María Ortega Santos, known as "Chilo", thus moving forward in the investigations of this unfortunate event that shakes our people of the northeast. 📋
