Remembering Che at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña high school
The Caamaño Foundation commemorated the 59th anniversary of Che Guevara with an educational talk in San Francisco de Macorís.

My beautiful people from our beloved land of the Jaya, the local branch of the Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó Foundation showed out by hosting a talk titled "Che Lives," a special event set at the facilities of the well-known Pedro Henríquez Ureña high school, right there in our dear San Francisco de Macorís.
This great gathering brought together students and teachers to commemorate the fifty-ninth anniversary of Ernesto "Che" Guevara's passing. During the meeting, prominent speakers such as Claudio Antonio Caamaño Vélez, Antonio María, Vicente Almonte, Modesto Estrella, and Rodolfo Pichardo shared details with the youth about the life, political thought, and trajectory of the remembered revolutionary leader.
Among the topics covered, Caamaño Vélez reviewed key moments in the guerrilla fighter's history, from his time in Mexico and the Sierra Maestra to his governmental responsibilities in Cuba and his participation in Bolivia. Meanwhile, journalist Antonio María recalled the figure of our immortal Dominican military man Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó, highlighting that both leaders represent fundamental pillars for global liberation struggles.
