Francomacorisan pride! Yadira García retires from UASD-SFM 🎉
After 32 years of dedication and solidarity at the UASD in San Francisco de Macorís, Yadira Mercedes García is retiring, leaving a huge mark. 🌟

Our dear people of San Francisco de Macorís have a lot to celebrate and be grateful for with the recent retirement of Yadira Mercedes García, a golden woman who dedicated more than three decades of her life to the service of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) at our beloved local campus, formerly known as CURNE. 🏛️✨
Her story at the academy started with hard work, first as a student in the Study-Work Scholarship program and then officially joining in 1993 through a competitive exam. Throughout 32 years of uninterrupted labor, she held positions as a clerk, receptionist, library assistant, and operational assistant, always standing out for going above and beyond her duties to help her colleagues. 📚🤝
Many remember her kindness in the most difficult moments, like when, thanks to her timely efforts with health insurance, she managed to save a family a large sum of money during a medical emergency. Her phone was always available and her helping hand was never missing in the face of illness or need, turning her work into a true vocation of service that today makes our entire francomacorisan community proud. ❤️🙌
