My lovely people of Serie 56, our land is making noise abroad once again thanks to the talent and discipline of our girls. The prestigious Dolls Gymnastics academy raised the name of San Francisco de Macorís and the entire Dominican Republic high at the IGA 2026 international artistic gymnastics tournament, held in Panama City. 🌴🏆
In this important competition, where delegations from over 15 Latin American countries competed, our athletes proved their great level by taking home a total of 13 medals, two trophies, and a special recognition from the organizers. The haul included one gold medal, six silver, and several bronze, leaving our community more than proud. 💪✨
Among the most outstanding performances was that of Dashly Chantel María Acosta, who was crowned All Around champion with 36.400 points, also adding silver on floor and bronze on bars. Meanwhile, little Yashiry Aquino, barely six years old, won silver on bars, while Zoe Jasleen María Acosta captured silver in the All Around with 38.500 points, along with top placements on vault, bars, and floor. Lia Marie José also contributed a silver medal on floor. 🏅👏
This great achievement was possible thanks to the athletes' effort and the work of coaches Darianny Aquino and Jheuddy Aurilum Acosta, who guided the delegation. Likewise, the participation had the valuable support of General Orison Olivense Minaya, the City Hall, and Pescadería Wanda. Huge congratulations to our champions for this historic triumph! 🎉🙌
