Bishop from San Francisco de Macorís calls for dialogue in the face of violence
Bishop Ramón Alfredo de la Cruz Baldera sent a message from Rome advocating for peace and understanding in the country.

My wonderful people of Serie 56 in USA! Important news reaches us from our beloved Dominican land that touches our community and our cherished Duarte province closely. The Dominican Episcopal Conference made an urgent call this Saturday to seek solutions to violence through dialogue, family unity, and the strengthening of peaceful coexistence throughout the country. At the event, the welcoming remarks were given by the president of the Catholic entity and bishop of San Francisco de Macorís, Bishop Ramón Alfredo de la Cruz Baldera, who communicated via a letter because he is currently attending a meeting in Rome. Likewise, Bishop Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán reminded us of the great responsibility we all share, from families to the State and schools, to build a better society and work together for the common good.
