Lucha Cero 56 shines in San Francisco de Macorís with its grand debut
Lucha Cero 56 held its inaugural event in San Francisco de Macorís and announced a major tournament to crown its first world champion.

My beautiful people of Serie 56! Our beloved homeland continues to make waves in the entertainment world. The new promotion Lucha Cero 56 made history this Sunday by holding its inaugural card titled "Punto Cero" at the ADP Professors Club facilities, right here in our beautiful San Francisco de Macorís. The event was under the executive direction of organizers Lewis Manuel Castaño and José Martín Tejada Alberto, who put together heart-stopping matches with national and international athletes that had all our people from the Northeast thoroughly enjoying themselves. Among the results, we saw Beltrre's victory in a triple threat match, the triumph of the Somos de Calle duo, and how our talented Dominican wrestler Adrian prevailed over the American Mantis. During the event, our community came together in an emotional tribute to fondly remember the late wrestler Basilio Estarlin Jáquez, known as "El Bronco del Cibao". Attorney Sonia María, representative of the Sports Committee, presented a recognition plaque to his mother, Mrs. Iluminada Jáquez, in a very heartfelt moment for all those present. To top it all off, the management confirmed that an elimination tournament will take place in December 2026 to determine the first holder of the LC56 World Heavyweight Championship belt, after the main event ended in a no-decision due to a double disqualification. Stay tuned, all you folks from San Francisco, because professional wrestling is here to stay in town!
