His appearance was made effective to comply with arrest warrant number 136-01-2025-SAUT-00647, issued to execute a sentencing judgment for voluntary manslaughter and violation of firearm laws. 📋 Court records detail that Celestino Burgos received his initial sentence on June 17, 2021, by the First Collegiate Tribunal of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance of the Judicial District of Duarte, following the death of Emilio José Faña Abreu. 🕊️ After exhausting the appeal processes and a cassation appeal rejected by the Supreme Court of Justice, the decision became final, and the Execution of the Sentence Tribunal of our locality ordered his arrest on June 2, 2025. 📅 After formally turning himself in, the citizen remained under the custody of the corresponding institutions to proceed with his transfer to the penitentiary center where he must serve the 20-year sentence handed down by the courts. 🔒
