Health is moving forward in San Francisco! Transplant committee sworn in 🩺
Public Health swore in the new Transplant Committee at the Dr. Ángel María Gatón Calderón University Regional Hospital in our city. 🏥

My lovely people of San Francisco de Macorís, our land keeps taking firm steps in the area of health. 🌟 The authorities have just officially sworn in the new Transplant Committee at the Dr. Ángel María Gatón Calderón University Regional Hospital, news that fills our entire Duarte province and the Northeastern region with hope. 🙌
The important event was led by the Minister of Public Health, Víctor Atallah, alongside the director of INCORT, José Juan Castillos Almonte. 🤝 During the meeting, officials highlighted the urgency of fostering a culture of solidarity among our people toward organ donation to give a new opportunity at life to those who need it so much. 💙
This new medical team is made up of 15 professionals from different areas of the healthcare center, under the direction of Dr. Óscar Mena and the hospital coordination of Wanda Rodríguez. 👩⚕️👨⚕️ Their main mission will be to identify potential donors, guide families, and strictly comply with established medical and ethical protocols. ✨
To support this great initiative, the Ministry of Public Health took the opportunity to deliver a transcranial Doppler equipment to the medical center, which will be used to improve the neurological evaluation of patients. ⚡ With this step, our hospital fully integrates into the national network to save lives. 🇩🇴
